This print shows a grieving woman with arms extended and fingers intertwined. Her gesture is inspired by the marble statues that you would find in a mausoleum.  She is looking over a chess board at two fighter jets going in opposite directions. Upon closer inspection you’ll notice grenades falling like tears from the sky. This scene swirls around encircling a capitol building in the center of the composition. The architectural form represents executive power. Techniques of aquatint, intaglio, and dry point are used in this print.
